
SIXTH WEEK REPORT – CATERING DEPARTMENT
The sixth week in the Catering Department was both insightful and engaging, as we had the privilege of being supervised and assessed by the Admin, Mrs. Joy Nweke.
During this week, emphasis was placed on practical food preparation, presentation, and teamwork. Under the guidance of Mrs. Joy Nweke, we were introduced to improved cooking techniques, proper hygiene practices, and effective kitchen organization. She carefully observed our activities, corrected our mistakes, and provided valuable feedback that enhanced our understanding of professional catering standards.
We prepared various dishes, focusing not only on taste but also on presentation and cleanliness. Mrs. Joy Nweke demonstrated the importance of attention to detail, time management, and discipline in the kitchen. Her leadership and hands-on approach made the learning process more interactive and impactful.
Additionally, she encouraged teamwork among us, ensuring that every member participated actively. This helped in building cooperation, communication skills, and confidence in handling kitchen tasks.
In conclusion, the sixth week was highly productive. The presence and supervision of Mrs. Joy Nweke greatly contributed to our growth, as we gained practical knowledge and improved our culinary skills.
