A Foundational Lesson
This week, students in the Tailoring Department received an essential lesson from Mrs. Afolayan on the fundamentals of using a sewing machine. The session covered critical skills, including proper machine care and maintenance, as well as the correct technique for using the foot pedal. Mrs. Afolayan also provided a detailed demonstration on taking accurate measurements, a core skill for any successful project. All students are strongly encouraged to pay close attention to these foundational principles, as they are crucial for all future work in the course.
