Part of the reasons exams are taken is to ensure that the students understand and can write down what they have learnt and improve their accuracy.

Examination continues in ALSALS
After training the students in 3 months, they are expected to write their exams, starting with the objective questions of their courses.
In the Household Hygiene Production Department, products like liquid soap, organic soap, body disinfectant were taught the students.
In the Tailoring Department, topics like embellishment and customer relationship were taught. Embellishment has to do with making of different colour patterns on plain materials for uniqueness.
The students in the catering and confectionery department were taught how to make different kind of cakes. They are: red velvet cake, marble cake, fruit cake, plain cake.
In the ICT department, students were taught how to use canva on their phones to design flyers and logos. Several designs were done by the students and displayed.
Household Hygiene Department The resource person, Mrs Nwaogwuwu, took the students through on the process of producing Vaseline body cream and the packaging of liquid hand wash.
Tailoring Department 4 topics were taught: Body structure, measurement, how to cut and sew by the resource person, Mr Ifeanyi. A number of demonstrations were done.
ICT DEPARTMENT Mr Michael, the resource person for the ICT department, taught the students on the history of computers, hardware and software. Many of the students have learnt how to type, using the keyboards .
