The two resource persons, Mrs. Onuorah and Mrs. Ezenwa, trained the students on how to prepare Marble and Queen Cake. Mrs. Onuorah instructed the students to ensure that they do their practical at home and bring it to the center to showcase it, for correction and recommendation.
The resource person, Mrs. Bola, trained the students on party make-up and tieing of gele. The above person is one of our student used by Mrs. Bola to teach the other students.
Table Creation and letter writing using Microsoft Word to do some assignments was given to the students to practice on by the resource person, Mr. Seyi Brown.
The students were taught by the resource person, Mrs. Afolayan, how to make six piece and straight skirt. They were seen using brown paper to practice. The creative designer, Mr. Ifeanyi, also taught them on color combination and use of fabric.
All the students were present to learn another aspect of Event management. The resource person, Mr. Robert, taught them on drapes and different styles in different occasions. There was a lot of conversation around the difference between been an interior designer and an event decorator. He ensured that the students get to understand this and know which material is…
The resource person, Mrs Ezenwa, taught the students how to make meat pie, scotch egg, turna pie and sausage roll. The students also presented their own chin chin and egg rolls to the secretary, Mrs Lilian. She expressed deep satisfaction that the students were able to do justice to their training.
The resource person, Mrs Onuorah, was present to train the students on various types of bread, e.g bread rolls, plain bread, etc. She advised the students that the only way to be very good at what you do, is when you do them by yourself at home and other people taste it and state their observation.
The resource person, Mrs Afolayan, is seen demonstrating using a student to train other students on how to take body measurements. Learning how to paddle the sewing machine continues with the new ones in the Tailoring department.
In the ICT Department, it was discovered that some of the students were just touching computer for the first time and were super happy. The resource person, Mr Seyi, taught them how to boot and use the computer.
